The Portlander’s guide to “giving good” this holiday season
Welcome to our first-ever edition of the #GiveGood guide! Below, we’ve curated a list of awesome holiday gifts from businesses that support local organizations like ours, or directly benefit local nonprofits. From stocking stuffers to staycation ideas to tech gadgets, all of the businesses are local Portland brands. Not to mention, all are available by ordering easily online. Ditch boring and get ready to feel good by giving good.
Last-Minute Stocking Stuffers
Olympia Provisions Gift Baskets: We love their salami samplers, especially for out-of-town guests. Plus get 15% off orders of $50+ with promo code MEATMAS15.
St. Jacks Gift Card + Book: St. Jacks is a great Northwest dinner spot. Portland Cooks, featuring their chef, Aaron Barnett, features 80 recipes from Portland's most popular restaurants and bars. Perfect for foodies and wannabe chefs.
Townshend’s Tea: Got a tea-lover on your list? We love this local shop’s mugs and countless types of tea, all available online.
Happy Hour @ Portland City Grill: did someone say happy hour with a view? Plus, receive a $20 bonus card for every gift card purchase of $100.
Sweet Staycation Ideas

NEW Jupiter Hotel: Coming spring 2018, Jupiter NEXT is opening adjacent to the current Jupiter Hotel on East Burnside. Give a night or two stay for a unique and perfectly Portland gift.
Bluehour Dinner and a Show: Snag happy hour at Pearl district classic, Bluehour, and follow it with a show down the street at the PCS at the Armory. We recommend Twist Your Dickens, an adult comedy adorned with the improvisational genius of the legendary comedy troupe The Second City.
Sunday Brunch @ Gracies: Great place for brunch downtown with an old Hollywood vibe. Especially festive during the holidays! Make a night of it by booking a stay the attached Hotel DeLuxe.
Hood River Hotel: Nothing like a quick trip east to Hood River at any time of year. Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel is the perfect jumping off point for all that Hood River has to offer.
Tech Goodies + Startup Swag

Maryhill Winery: consider gifting a club membership to this Washington venue that hosts concerts throughout the year.
Cathedral Ridge: along with red and white gift sets, they have a fun party kit with everything you need to host a blind tasting!
Angela Estate: known for their Pinot Noir, this winery is situated in beautiful Yamhill county. The beautiful wooden boxes are a great addition to any gift.
Domaine Serene: our favorite is their rosé, although they have a wide selection of reds and whites. With a beautiful clubhouse and tasting room, a membership is also a great gift.
Widmer Brothers Gear: we especially love their beanies and for that Timbers fan who also loves beer, their Timbers gear makes an especially awesome gift.
Hopworks Urban Brewery: when you order a $50 gift card they’ll send you a $10 card for free! Their gear is especially perfect for the beer and bike lover in your life.
Bridge City Limos: bundle any of the wine tastings above with a limo ride or gather your friends for a fun (and safe) holiday outing in style.
Experiences, Not “Stuff”
Winterhawks Tickets: Got a sports fanatic in the house? We love that this is a way to spend time with loved ones. Not a hockey fan? Try Timbers or Thorns later on in the year.

Golden Linings Jewelry: Created by Levé advisory council member, Jude Lieberman, this seasonal online shop features beautifully golden handmade jewelry.
