Cheers to House Spirits

Here’s a partnership you can raise a glass to.

House Spirits Distillery — the Portland-based maker of Aviation Gin — and Levé are teaming up for the holidays. House Spirits will be graciously donating a portion of proceeds from its Eighth Annual Holiday Booze Bazaar on Saturday to Levé, which will help support our nine nonprofit partners.

Kelly Sanders, assistant marketing manager at House Spirits, says their previous support of nonprofit organizations has mostly consisted of in-kind donations. This year they wanted a to make a bigger impact, and felt Levé was a natural partner for the Holiday Booze Bazaar.

“During the last two years, we’ve been actively seeking a [nonprofit] partner,” says Kelly Sanders, assistant marketing manager at House Spirits. “Our roots are here in Portland, so the partnership with Levé is a nice tie to the community.”

Plus, it’s a guilt-free way to buy your holiday gifts.

Nine local vendors will be selling holiday gifts at the free event, including Olympic Provisions and Jacobs Creamery. Shoppers will have the chance to sample spirits and enjoy complimentary mini cocktails, and House Spirits will be celebrating the limited release of two new products, House Spirits Bourbon and a small-batch Aquavit made with dill.

“It’s a fun way to do your shopping while supporting the community,” Sanders says.

The Holiday Booze Bazaar will be held at House Spirits Distillery, 2025 SE 7th Ave., from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Dealers Supply Company: The Real Deal

Dealers Supply Company has been a Levé supporter for the past ten years.  This year though, Levé received a check for much more than expected - $10,000.

The building materials company was founded in 1920 in Portland and has been family-run ever since.  Craig Francis, Inside Sales at Dealers Supply explains, “I’m fifth generation.  Dealers Supply Company was founded by my great-great grandfather when 39th was farmland.”

Francis has been attending Charity Ball since it began- 10 years ago.  “I used to know everyone there, but over the last few years it’s been a wide range of people- I don’t recognize everyone anymore!”

Dealers Supply was driven to give more than ever this year, Francis explains, because of Levé ’s 10th Anniversary commitment to give back to our 9 past nonprofit partners. “The concept this year took the Charity Ball to a whole other level.”

Dealers Supply has been giving back to the community for many years by supporting their customer’s charity efforts and donating roofing materials to local organizations.  “We want to be recognized as a member of the community that gives back,” says Francis.  Inspired by Levé, Dealers Supply is currently exploring further development of a formal, corporate giving policy.

Thank you, Dealers Supply, for your continued support!
