For the past several years as "I Have A Dream" Oregon, we hosted Dream Big and Dream Big After Dark. These events, like many others in our region, followed a standard benefit format with seated dinners and live auctions. We decided to reimagine the gala model in order to create a fundraising experience that brings you closer into the world of our most important constituents— our students and their communities.
The result is RISE.
This shift is our way of building an impact and mission-centered fundraiser that speaks to the resilience of families in East Multnomah County. The intentional use of our equity lens in planning this event, such as selecting our vendors and contractors, may be subtle to an outside eye, but it is vital in staying faithful to our commitment to racial equity.
We are thrilled to invite you to this inaugural event. Please join us for RISE where we will be elevating the voices and stories from our community.
