To celebrate their 15th anniversary, Levé has selected 3 nonprofit partners for 2018!

Levé, the Pacific Northwest’s leader in millennial philanthropy, announces they have selected their 2018 nonprofit partners from an amazing set of 51 applicants.

Comprised of all women, Levé is a nonprofit curator of sorts. Their mission is to inspire the next generation of givers by connecting their peers with the great work already being done in the community. Typically, one annual partner is chosen. However, in celebration of their 15th anniversary, Levé has decided to triple down this year with 3 nonprofit partners, including:

  1. Adelante Mujeres works to educate and empower low-income Latina women and their families, providing intentional, innovative, and holistic programs to over 5,500 families annually.
  2. Mercy Corps NW believes that a person's background can and should not dictate their capacity to thrive. Their mission is to build more just, productive and resilient communities in the Pacific Northwest.
  3. Oregon Active provides Adventure Therapy for people in our community with disabilities and other life challenging conditions. They are paying it forward through adventure and community.

We are so thrilled to welcome these 3 organizations into the Levé family. Together, they represent what is truly special about Oregon’s nonprofit community—that an organization’s mission is not limited by their size and that everyone deserves a chance to thrive. We can’t wait to dig in and start connecting our peers to these incredible causes,” commented Kathryn Vsetecka, Levé’s 2018 President.

The annual partnership will extend the fundraising, volunteer, and advocacy reach of each nonprofit. Charity Ball, Levé’s signature party for a purpose in December 2017, attracted nearly 400 people—the majority of which were millennials. In addition to fundraising, Levé members participated in 160+ hours of direct service last year.

ABOUT LEVÉ

Our mission is to inspire the next generation of givers. Because when we give back, we are better citizens, sisters, mothers, colleagues, and friends. Levé, which comes from the French word "to lift," started as a college party for a good cause in 2004 and has since evolved into an all-female, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that leads the conversation around millennial philanthropy in the Pacific Northwest. We have infused over half a million dollars and countless volunteer hours into the local community, with a focus on micro-fundraising, unconventional direct service, and grassroots advocacy.
