For Levé, December means Charity Ball and a chance to party for a purpose with our incredible nonprofit partners. The 13th Annual Charity Ball took place on Saturday, December 3 at Yale Union in Portland. Over 400 guests joined us to benefit Bradley Angle and its mission to build a better life and brighter future for those affected by domestic violence.
To have a proper celebration, you need bubbles, which is why we always start out Charity Ball with complimentary champagne for guests until 8pm. For the second year, we featured a VIP lounge sponsored by Buffalo Trace featuring specially-infused bourbon tastings, a private bar and lounge area, appetizers and a VIP goodie bag to take home.
This year, Levé was honored to feature two very special guests to help bring Bradley Angle’s mission to life. Domestic violence survivor, Melissa, shared her story of strength and experience escaping domestic violence and finding new hope through the support of Bradley Angle. Her story reminded us of why we chose to support Bradley Angle, an amazing organization that truly makes a difference for those affected by domestic violence.
In addition, we were thrilled to have Poison Waters, legendary Portland entertainer and personality, with us for the entire evening (looking fabulous as always!) to perform, emcee and, most importantly, help elevate the Bradley Angle message and provide guests with the opportunity to support the organization through Charity Ball’s first live call to donation. We were touched by everyone’s generosity and it made a huge impact on the funds Levé will be able to pass on to Bradley Angle this year.
We’re so pleased to have partnered with Bradley Angle for 2016. Thank you to everyone who attended Charity Ball and contributed throughout the year. And of course, congratulations to our silent auction winners and the three raffle winners who received their choice of a collection of beer, whiskey or a stocked bar cart!
